At St Maries of the Isle, we are proud of our strong commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability. We are proud holders of eight Green Flags, with our most recent award achieved for Global Citizenship – Marine Environment.
Through our Green-Schools initiatives, pupils play an active role in promoting environmental responsibility throughout the school community. Our students regularly engage in projects and activities that encourage sustainability, teamwork and positive action.
We are currently focusing on the theme of Global Citizenship – Travel, promoting safe, active and sustainable travel to and from school. Through this work, we aim to encourage healthy lifestyles, reduce traffic congestion and increase awareness of the importance of caring for our environment.
