5th Class trip to UCC and The Glucksman

5th Class had a wonderful trip to University College Cork and the Glucksman Gallery. During their guided tour of UCC, they heard many fun and interesting stories about the Crawford Observatory, the Honan Chapel, the bust of George Boole, the Gaol Cross entrance, and the history behind the university’s crest.

They also really enjoyed the Domain of the Dinosaurs exhibition and took part in a creative art activity in The Glucksman.

We are so lucky to have such wonderful places to visit right on our doorstep. A fantastic day was had by all!
