Last Friday, our First Holy Communion class led the annual May Procession. They crowned a statue of Our Lady with a garland of flowers, at the grotto in the convent of St. Maries of the Isle. It was a beautiful day filled with prayers, reflections and songs.

"☀️ Today, the sun smiled upon the boys and girls from St. Maries of the Isle as they celebrated their first Holy Communion. Congratulations to the children and their families on this special day.

🌞 Our students were soaking up the sunshine today, while engaging in exciting science experiments with bubbles, planting in the garden and exploring with tuff trays. It was a day filled with outdoor learning and lots of fun. ☀️

🌊⚓️ Ahoy, third class! Today the children embarked on a maritime journey like no other, stepping aboard a naval ship to discover the wonders of life at sea! What a day 🤗

👩‍🏫📚This week, our 6th class took on a new role as mentors, guiding Junior Infants through arts and crafts and teaching 1st class the ins and outs of chess. It was a rewarding experience for all!! ⭐️

🐛🦋The caterpillars in Ms Ring’s class are growing fast, some are already climbing to the top, gearing up for their chrysalis stage. Soon, they will have to relocate them to their butterfly net.

📚 Our students had a fantastic time at the @corkcitylibrary for @WorldBookFest. They were delighted to meet and hear from the talented duo @EllenRyanWrites & @Conor_Merriman , the author and illustrator behind 'Gods Don't Cry,' 🌟

Big thanks to the TY students at @stalscork for inviting our 4th & 5th classes to an inclusive boys & girls sports day! 🙌 We were delighted to participate and support their project which aims to stop the cycle of sexism in sport and make sports inclusive for all. 👍🏼

Ms. Simcox’s junior infants were delighted to team up with some of the older children in Ms. Jones’ fifth class for reading time . Learning, laughter, and literacy in action! 📚 #ReadingBuddies #Teamwork
